Hilltop Residential ~ Day One
Morning everyone! Happy Saturday morning to you all. Despite the terrible weather, we left on time and started our journey to the Hilltop Outdoor Centre in Norfolk. Unfortunately, the traffic was quite bad and we were delayed. Mr irons kept us informed of the estimated time of arrival and despite the relentless rain the children remained in good spirits.
The coach arrived at 12.50 and we unloaded the coach and unpacked. We had lunch and then met Harry, who introduced himself as our Course Director for the trip.
We went for a tour of the centre and then onto our first activity of Team Tasks and Ice breakers. The children were brilliant and kept their spirits up even though the rain didn’t stop.
We went back to the centre for some time in the games room and dinner. We had beef burger and chips and syrup sponge and custard for dessert.
Then we watched the football and went in the games room. The children were really good and were in bed, asleep, by 10pm.
We are looking forward to a brilliant day today. Let’s hope the sun shines!
