Teatime Childcare

The Phoenix Primary School and Nursery is now able to offer registered child care provision for school aged children from 3.10pm until 6pm, from 6th January 2020.  Our After School Childcare is staffed by our own school staff so the children already know them well.

The Teatime Childcare will be in the school’s KS1 Hall where the children will get the use of toys, board games, puzzles, art resources etc.  We know that school ends at 3.10pm so we want to make our after school childcare different, exciting and fun! We will help children with their homework if they need and want help, or we will support them in their play.  We want to make the childcare as much like being at home without being at home.

Meals & Menus

Included in the fee, we will provide your child with a freshly prepared light snack every evening at around 4.15pm.  Options include beans/spaghetti/jam on toast, toasted cheese/ham sandwiches and chicken/veggie nuggets.  Salad, yoghurts, fresh fruit, water and sugar-free juice are always available.

Fee & Agreement

Parents/carers are required to fill out an agreement which outlines which evenings are required. You will then be contacted with a start date once a space has been allocated. Fees must be paid 24hrs in advance. All sessions must be paid for, irrespective of whether your child attends, or not. If you do not book within the 24hrs, an adhoc price will be payable.  Please refer to the adhoc prices below.  Bookings are made via ParentPay payment system, which is a quick and effective way of keeping track of monies paid into school and monies owing.
