25.02.21 English Set 1/2/3

Open the power point relevant to your set.

Read through the words using your phonics skills.

Please note:- Children in set 1 and 2, also have some 'alien' words to read. These are made up/ nonsense words that contain a phonics sound that the children can use their skills to read. Spell these words then write them into sentence.

Set 1- Extend your sentences with conjunctions, adjectives and a range of punctuation

Your child may have 'met/ learnt' these sounds before, but in year 1 we constantly recap and refresh our knowledge of the phonetic sounds.

Today we are continuing to find one less/ one more using our tens and ones knowledge. Open the document relevant to each set and follow the instructions with each activity.
