We spent 2 days learning about how to look after our own well being. There were 6 work shops. Mrs Symes led a Relaxation class where we learned techniques on how to calm ourselves. Mrs Taylor ran a Self Esteem session where we shared all the good traits and talents in each other. Mrs Wallace ran an Art Therapy work shop where we cut out positive words to describe ourselves. Mrs Kirkham and Miss Harrison taught us about keeping our bodies clean and safe by practising good hygiene and keeping our privates private! With Mrs Storey we discussed different emotions and how we can keep them under control. Mr Clark gave us some circuit training to get our heart rates up, keeping our bodies healthy.
We all had a great day and learned how we can best take care of our bodies, minds and emotions 😊
