In the links above you will find out all about the exciting learning that is yet to come this half term! Please have a browse.
Below you will find important information regarding your child's PE time slot and information on reading.
At the bottom of the page you will find the children's class blog- A fortnightly update of all the exciting things that happen within 3H! Enjoy!
Every child in 3H will have a reading book and we encourage them to read with an adult at home. We will visit the library weekly and children will bring home their choice of a library book. Please ensure that their reading books and reading records are in school each and every day as we will be reading with each child throughout the week. Every time a child reads with an adult, they will receive a stamp on their reading chart, which will earn them certificates and book prizes.
3H will have PE once a week, however, the day may change. Please ensure that your child has their P.E kit at school every day. Hair should be tied up and earrings MUST be removed on these days. Your child will not be able to join in with P.E if they have earrings in.

Wow! What a half term term we have had in year 3.
We have really enjoyed reading, watching and writing about Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. I think our favourite bit of the topic was writing descriptions of Willy Wonka and Violet Bulreguarde. She blew up like a big, purple balloon!
Some of the words we used to describe Willy Wonka are: eccentric, exquisite and as pale as fresh, white snow.
In maths we have been recapping the four basic operations to really cement our mathematical knowledge. In Miss Holman's class we have been practising our number bonds. On our first test, no one got more than 10 out of 40. When we tried again 2 weeks later, we all got more than 30 out of 40! We are so proud of ourselves.
AB won an award for playing TT Rockstars the most out of our class!
In Geography, we finished looking at Megacities by having a debate - would you rather live in a city or in the countryside. There were some interesting points raised.
We are all looking forward to a lovely Easter break - we have worked really hard and we deserve it.
Miss Holman says have a great half term. Enjoy your Easter eggs, get out and have fun and, most importantly, keep safe.
Happy half term!
