2B will have reading books to read at home and we will visit the library weekly and children will bring home their choice of a library book. Please ensure book bags are in school each and every day as we will be reading with each child throughout the week.
2B have P.E weekly. Please ensure that your child has their P.E kit at school. Hair should be tied up and earrings MUST be removed on these days. Your child will not be able to join in with P.E if they have earrings in.
Maths homework will be given out on a Friday and will be due in the next Wednesday. Spellings will also be sent home each week for children to practise at home.

In 2B we have been learning some new songs. We are really good at singing ‘Three little birds’. We even sing different parts to make it sound fantastic! AB says ‘we found one part of the song a bit difficult but we kept practising until we learnt it really well’. We have also been singing a song about aardvarks which we really like because it is funny. HB says ‘in the song the aardvarks are drinking cans of coke!’
On Tuesday we met our new teacher and spent the whole morning with her. AW says ‘we made a character from the Stone Age’. KS says ‘we designed puzzle pieces with information all about us’.
RR says ‘I’m feeling a little bit worried about going to Year 3 but I am also excited for learning all about the Stone Age.
We are looking forward to the summer holidays and we are excited to start Year 3.
