At the bottom of the page you will find the children's class blog- A fortnightly update of all the exciting things that happen within 1Wi! Enjoy!
1Wi will have reading books changed daily. We will visit the library weekly and children will bring home their choice of a library book. Please ensure book bags are in school each and every day as we will be reading with each child throughout the week.
1Wi have P.E weekly and the day will be confirmed with a sign on the door. Please ensure that your child has their P.E kit at school on this day. Hair should be tied up and earrings MUST be removed on these days. Your child will not be able to join in with P.E if they have earrings in.

The children have been talking about what they have been up to this week!
AD ‘We have been cutting out animals in art for our African painting.’
LF – ‘In English we have been writing about Baby Bear and he goes in the Pacific Ocean.’
PP –‘In Maths we have practising number bonds.’
DS – ‘In Maths we have learned about positions such as above, top, right, left, between and behind.’
LE – ‘Yesterday, we did computing we played Big Bad Wolf.’
MC – ‘In English we have been learning about what will happen next in Whatever Next the story. I said Baby Bear went down the toilet and ended up in the vast Pacific Ocean.’
LC – ‘In Science we have been going out on the playground looking for flowers and trees. We found a chestnut tree and oak tree.’
TW – ‘In Science, we have been learning about different types of plants and where they grow. Wild plants grow on their own. A daisy is a wild flower.’
PD – ‘In Maths, we have been practising number bonds to 10. 1 + 9 = 10.’
EH – ‘In Maths, we have been learning about positional language.’
DB – ‘In History we have been learning about Amy Johnson. She was the first woman to fly a plane from England to Australia.’
